About the Role
At TCOU our Care Worker’s role is focused on the service user and their different needs & requirements.
You can expect duties to include (not exhaustive) :
- Administering Medication
- Making meals
- Escorting clients to an activity or a medical appointment
- Chatting and engaging with relatives and providing care updates
- Companionship — communicating and taking an interest in your client’s needs
- Helping with personal care such as washing, dressing, hair, nail, mouth & skin care
- Provide fluid and nutritional support
- Errands such as shopping
- Helping with household tasks, including gardening, cleaning, household maintenance, washing
clothes, doing the weekly shop or making the bed
- Assisting with paperwork such as paying bills
- Reporting and documentation I.e. Care Plan review
Requirements
Minimum 6 months in Care Work Preferred, but not essential (Further training will be provided)
Flexibility with working patterns
Shift Patterns & Weekend Working required
Day and Night Shift available
Reliability - Our service users are dependant on our staff and support.
